Thank you for visiting our website. My name is Shawn Dirksen and I am the owner and founder of Southern Tile, Marble & Mosaics LLC. I started this company in 2000 with one goal in mind: to be the best at what I do AND the most unique. I studied the art of mosaics, and the passion and philosphy of the great artisans of the past. One thing rang true with all of them - they were patient and proud.
Some of the craftsmen of today want to rush and fly through a project to get paid as quickly as possible. As a result, you get an installation of high end materials that are doomed to wind up in a dumpster in less than a few years.
In contrast, I balance swift work with accuracy and integrity. I strive to provide an installation that you are not only happy with, but also one about which you are extremely proud.
